The ability for streamers to see who is in the chat. This would be helpful to see who is watching and try to get those that are just lurking to say something/adjust content to get more interaction.

Remember that a large percentage of gamers are socially awkward and/or introverts. Some even have mental challenges, anxiety, depression, etc. To call someone out when they wish to be silent is kind of rude and might just scare them away. If they are showing support by lurking and enjoying the content, they might build up the courage to speak up someday. If they are called out randomly, maybe yes, maybe no.

Not a fan of this feature. Many people including myself sometimes want to view silently. *Most of the time* I engage in chat, but not always. If I'm browsing new streamers I've never seen before to preview their content BEFORE engaging, I don't want to be seen or called out in chat. If I decide *nope, not my type of content* I want the privacy to leave undetected. Tons of people lurk or tab while otherwise occupied or away momentarily. If the streamer said *Hey you* - awkward for everyone.
