I think we can all agree that expanding access to transcodes would be a great improvement to the platform. Providing transcodes requires a lot of processing power, but, as someone who has a lot of bandwidth and already has an Nginx+FFMPEG transcoding setup, I would not mind providing my own transcodes if there were a way for me to send them to the ingest server.Eg. send a 480p, 720p, and 1080p copy of the stream to the ingest. The only cost to DLive would be bandwidth.
