I just made an account and I picked a name temporarily because I planned on changing it later but to my surprise, I have to wait 30 days to change it again. Is there any way the wait time can be reduced, or removed entirely. Please and Thankyou. |

i just created an account and cant see where i can make nickname and finally i get this shitty name. i dont want to wait 12 more days for change it. please help me !
Hundreds OR thousands
Historically it has been unwise to do this in my opinion. Why? Because all links break, and people can't as easily find your channel. Because the former name doesn't forward the old name link to the new. The other danger of removing a delay between changes is trolls or squatters gathering hundreds of thousands of names since they can't be released for a year after being claimed without staff intervention.
what can i do if i can my name an its the wrong name
It's sometimes fun to change names for events or seasonal occasions, like Halloween/Christmas etc. Perhaps there could be a temporary "name" change that doesn't actually changed the name of your channel/account, but only the way it appears for a set time?
